Guidelines for formatting

Submissions must:

• be under 10MB

• be in MP3 (audio samples only)

• include a 2-5 minute reading (you may choose your own text, or use our audition script)

• clearly label your file with your name
  

Accepted Forms for Submission

When submissions are open, narrators may use the below form to submit their work.

Unsolicited email submissions will not be considered.

If a narrator has met one of our staff and been asked to submit their work directly via email, they should be provided with an email address to do so.

Please Note

Please do not resubmit work previously submitted. This will be flagged by our system.

Do I need to find an author?

You do not need to find an author or apply to narrate a specific book. Should your submission be accepted, Appointed Media shall match you with the appropriate authors and books.

Is my work protected?

All submissions are considered confidential and protected work. They may be shared with in-house staff as necessary to make decisions. Your confidentiality and the status of your submission will be respected.

Will you let me know if I am unsuccessful?

Due to the number of submissions received, not every submission shall be responded to. If you have not heard back from us within four months, you can assume that your work was unsuccessful and our team is unable to provide feedback. In these situations, we recommend you consider engaging professional editing services or a literary agent.
